The conference will be held jointly with OSMSES 2024 conference.

Registration Information 2023

The registration takes place via the Austrian Association for Electrical Engineering (OVE) and is planned on-site and online.

Registration for ComForEn 2023 includes:

• Conference participation on March 16th and 17th
  
• Participation in workshops on March 15th
  
• Catering during breaks, social program, dinner, conference documents
  

It is possible to switch from on-site to online tickets. If you have booked an Early-Bird ticket, you will be transferred to an Online (normal price) ticket free of charge. Please note that authors presenting at the conference must also purchase a ticket (either Speaker on-site or online).

*Concerning Workshops:
Please note that participating online in the Workshops leads to limited interaction experience due to the setting.

Cancellation conditions for participants
Please understand that we can only accept cancellations in writing!
In case of cancellation 14 to 7 working days before the event, we charge 50% of the participation fee. In case of cancellation after that or no-show on the day of the event, regardless of the reason for the cancellation, the full participation fee will be charged.
The cancellation fee is to be paid regardless of the reasons for cancellation and any fault.
In case of illness or other reasons for not being able to attend, we will gladly accept a substitute participant without additional costs. Please inform us as soon as possible.

COVID-19 special regulation:
If the conference cannot take place due to official measures, the participation fees will be refunden.
In case of a local lockdown or quarantine due to Covid-19 restrictions ordered by authorities, participants can cancel their registration free of charge up to 7 days in advance. This cancellation requires proof and a handling fee of 10 €. The changeover to online participation is free of charge.

Event cancellation
Events can only be held if a minimum number of participants is reached. If this is not the case, we will inform you in time about the cancellation.
If an event has to be cancelled (e.g. illness of the trainer), the fee will be refunded or, if you wish, you can be rebooked for one of our other events or receive a credit note.
Compensation for expenses already incurred (e.g. travel costs, accommodation costs, travel expenses, loss of earnings, etc.) is excluded.
